Cleaning.

Use solvent in a well ventilated area. Avoid prolonged breathing of fumes. Keep away from open flame.
Use approved safety equipment.
Use approved personal protective equipment (goggles/face shield) when using compressed air. Air pressure
is restricted to a maximum of 35 psi. Do not direct airstream towards self or other personnel.
If parts are not to be inspected immediately after cleaning, dip them in preservative oil to prevent rust spots.
Clean disc assembly with cloth soaked in solvent.
Wash remaining components in solvent and rinse thoroughly. Dry with compressed air.
Inspection.Inspect components in accordance with Task 3-20.
Repair. Repair of parts is limited to the removal of minor nicks, burns, scratches or other surface damage using aluminum
oxide cloth or fine abrasive. Clean parts thoroughly after repair. If damage is extensive, or if minor repair will affect
serviceability, replace the part.
