3-16.6 Wheel Assembly Replacement, Model 214-706-104-101 (AVUM).
The Wheel Assembly is group number 03 in the MAC. This procedure is applicable to Ground Handling Wheels
Assembly, Model 214-706-104-101. The numbers in parenthesis refer to figure 3-16 Observe all WARNINGS and
CAUTIONS while performing the following Inspections.

A. REMOVE
Refer to figure 3-16 and remove the Wheel Assembly as follows:
1.
Remove cotter pin (1), castle nut (2), and retainer (3).
2.
Remove damaged wheel assembly (4) from axle (5).
3.
Inspect axle to assure that it. is clean. Lubricate machined surfaces lightly with lubricating oil (item 5,
Appendix D).
4.
If wheel assembly is removed as part of a disassembly procedure, retain for reinstallation.
5.
If wheel assembly is removed because it is defective, repair using procedures in paragraph 3-16.7.
