REMOVAL
TIE RODS
Figure 2.
Tie Rods and Quick Release Pin.
1.
Remove quick release pins (Figure 2, Item 1 and 2).
2.
Remove screws (Figure 2, Item 3) and tie rod clamps (Figure 2, Item 4).
3.
Mark thread insertion and then unscrew tie rods (Figure 2, Item 5 and 6) from steering arm of suspension unit.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
Repair tie rods and replace defective hardware as required.
INSTALLATION
1.
Screw tie rods (Figure 2, Item 5 and 6) into steering arm to previous depth.
2.
Secure with tie rod clamps (Figure 2, Item 4) and screws (Figure 2, Item 3).
3.
Align holes with tongue and insert quick release pins (Figure 2, Item 1 and 2).
