INSPECTION OF INSTALLED ITEMS
Inspect ladders and brace for cracks, bends or other damage that restrict free movement. Repair or replace de-
fective parts.
REMOVAL
UPPER LADDER
1.
Remove four bolts on each attaching ladder (Figure 1, Item 3) to platform floor.
2.
Raise ladder up until clear of ladder guides (Figure 1, Item 5).
LOWER LADDER
1.
Remove bolts at each end of ladder brace (Figure 1, Item 4).
2.
Remove 4 bolts attaching ladder to rear legs (Figure 1, Item 7).
INSTALLATION
UPPER LADDER
1.
Grease ladder guides (Figure 1, Item 5) using Grease, Automotive.
2.
Insert lower end of ladder (Figure 1, Item 3) into ladder guides (Figure 1, Item 5).
3.
Attach end of ladder (Figure 1, Item 3) to platform floor with 4 bolts on each side of ladder.
LOWER LADDER
1.
Attach lower ladder (Figure 1, Item 6) to rear legs (Figure 1, Item 7) using 4 bolts.
2.
Attach ladder brace (Figure 1, Item 4) using bolts at each end.
3.
Grease ladder guides (Figure 1, Item 5) using Grease, Automotive.
