PLATFORM WILL NOT RAISE TO DESIRED HEIGHT WHEN PUMP IS OPERATED
SYMPTOM
Platform will not raise to desired height when pump is operated.
MALFUNCTION
Release valve is open. Pump fluid level is low.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Place release valve in closed position. Fill pump reservoir if required. Replace pump (WP 0009 00,
Figure 1, Item 8) WP 0016 00 and/or cylinder (WP 0009 00, Figure 1, Item 15) (WP 0017 00).
PLATFORM RAISES AND SETTLES BACK DURING EACH STROKE OF PUMP
SYMPTOM
Platform raises and settles back during each stroke of pump.
MALFUNCTION
Defective pump.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace pump (WP 0009 00, Figure 1, Item 8) (WP 0016 00).
RATE OF DESCENT TOO SLOW OR EXCEEDS 6 INCHES PER SECOND
SYMPTOM
Rate of descent too slow or exceeds 6 inches per second.
MALFUNCTION
Release valve lever improperly installed.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Adjust release valve for a descent of 6 inches per second (WP 0016 00).
