RAISING THE PLATFORM - CONTINUED
WARNING
The platform is equipped with two safety lock pins which must be installed when the platform
has attained the desired height. Do not raise or lower the platform while standing on the ladder.
LOWERING THE PLATFORM
1.
Open vent plug (Figure 1, Item 2), and raise platform slightly to remove tension on safety lock pins (Figure 1,
Item 1).
2.
Remove safety lock pins (Figure 1, Item 1). Stow pins
3.
Slowly turn release valve lever (Figure 1, Item 3) counterclockwise until the desired rate of decent is obtained.
4.
When the platform has fully lowered, close vent plug (Figure 1, Item 2) and release valve lever (Figure 1, Item
3) .
5.
Reinstall safety lock pins (Figure 1, Item 1).
