DISASSEMBLY
Remove the nine nuts (Figure 1, Item 6 and 9), six bolts (Figure 1, Item 3) and three studs (Figure 1, Item 10)

that secure the six no. 1 braces (Figure 1, Item 2), six no. 2 braces (Figure 1, Item 5), six no. 3 braces (Figure
1, Item 7) and six links (Figure 1, Item 8) to the leg extension (Figure 1, Item 4) and remove the braces and
links.
Pull the six leg extensions off the three legs (Figure 1, Item 1).

CLEANING
WARNING
DEGREASING SOLVENT, MIL-PRF-680
Degreasing solvent, MIL-PRF-680, is combustible and toxic to eyes, skin and respiratory tract.
Wear protective gloves and goggles/face shield. Avoid repeated or prolonged contact. Use
only in well ventilated areas (or use approved respirator as determined by local safety/industrial
hygiene personnel). Keep away from open ames or other sources of ignition.
Clean all parts with Cleaning Solvent and dry thoroughly.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
1.
Straighten bent or distorted items and repair cracks and breaks by welding.
2.
Replace all parts damaged beyond repair.
3.
Retouch or repaint with paint.
4.
Replace all defective parts.
ASSEMBLY
1.
Install the six leg extensions (Figure 1, Item 4) on the three legs (Figure 1, Item 1).
2.
Place the six no. 3 braces (Figure 1, Item 7), six no. 2 braces (Figure 1, Item 5), six no. 1 braces (Figure 1,
Item 2) and the six links (Figure 1, Item 8) on the six leg extensions and secure with the three studs (Figure 1,
Item 10), six bolts (Figure 1, Item 3) and nine nuts (Figure 1, Item 6 and 9).
TEST AND INSPECTION
1.
Inspect the legs, leg extensions, braces and links for cracks, breaks and distortion.
2.
Inspect all attaching hardware for distortion and damaged threads.
3.
Inspect the tripod assembly for cracks, breaks and distortion. Replace a defective or damaged part.
4.
Retouch or repaint damaged painted surfaces as required.
INSTALLATION
1.
Install the foot and caster assemblies (WP 0013 00, Figure Foot and Caster Assemblies).
2.
Install the cylinder and ram assembly (WP 0015 00, Figure Cylinder and Ram Assembly).
3.
Install the pump assembly (WP 0014 00, Figure Pump Assembly).
