4-2. TADS TURRET ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (cont)
NOTE
If the TADS turret assembly is to be exposed
to the environment for any length of time,
environmental dust covers shall be installed.
REMOVAL
1. Remove optical relay tube (ORT) assembly.
a. Close EMERG NYD circuit breaker (1) on
pilot overhead circuit breaker panel (2).
b. Set pilot ELEC PWR control panel BATT/
OFF/EXT PWR switch (3) to BATT.
