4-37. INDIRECT VIEW DISPLAY (IVD) ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY 2A3 REPAIR (cont)
i.
Disconnect connector P7 (16) from
connector J7 (17) on the low voltage power
supply assembly (18) by loosening two
screwlocks (19).

Remove cable shield stiffener (20) from the
IVD electronics assembly (3) by removing
12 screws (21) and washers (22).
k. Remove fan cable harness assembly (23)
from spring clips (24) and remove fan
assembly (2).
INSTALLATION
l.
Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from hardware (para
2-6).
m. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to hardware (para 2-6).
n. Connect connector P7 (16) of replacement
fan assembly (1) to J7 (17) of the low
voltage power supply assembly (18) by
tightening two screwlocks (19).
NOTE
Ensure the fan cable assembly is in cable
stiffener channel.
o. Install cable shield harness shield stiffener
(20) to the IVD electronics assembly (3) by
positioning the fan cable shield stiffener
(20) over the fan cable harness assembly
(23) and securing it with 12 screws (21) and
washers (22).
