3. REAR ASSEMBLY COVER REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Remove rear assembly cover (1) by
loosening 12 captive screws (2).
INSTALLATION
b. Install rear assembly cover (1) and tighten
12 captive screws (2).
END OF TASK
4. OPTICAL RELAY TUBE (ORT) CONTROL
ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY CCA A1 THRU A5
REPLACEMENT
CAUTION
These CCAs contain electrostatic discharge
sensitive devices (ESDS). Refer to paragraph
2-8 for handling requirements before starting
this task, to prevent damage to the devices.
NOTE
This procedure is for replacing CCA A1 (1) and
can also be used to replace CCA A2 thru A5.

CAUTION
Make sure insulator spacer attached to
connector of CCA A2 is not damaged when
removing or installing CCA A2 or CCA A3.
REMOVAL
a. Remove bottom assembly cover (1 above).
b. Remove faulty CCA using card extractor.
INSTALLATION
c. Install replacement CCA.
d. Install bottom assembly cover (1 above).
