4-6. VISUAL MULTIPLEXER ASSEMBLY REPAIR (cont)
1. FAN ASSEMBLY A42 REPLACEMENT
a. Remove fan assembly A42 (1) by removing
four screws (2) and washers (3).
INSTALLATION
b. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from mounting hardware
(para 2-8).
c. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to mounting hardware
(para 2-8). Use class 1A application.
d. Install fan assembly A42 (1) and secure
using four screws (2) and washers (3).
