25. OPTICS SCANNER ASSEMBLY A32
VANEAXIAL FAN B1 REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Remove screw (1) and disconnect
connector A32B1P1 (2) from connector
A36J2 (3).
b. Remove four screws (4) and lockwashers
(5); then remove vaneaxial fan A32B1 (6)
from optics scanner assembly A32 (7).
INSTALLATION
c. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from four screws (4)
(para 2-6).
d. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to threads of four screws
(4) (para 2-6). Use class 1A application.
e. Position vaneaxial fan A32B1 (6) on optics
scanner assembly A32 (7) and install four
screws (4) with lockwashers (5).
f. Connect connector A32B1P1 (2) to
connector A36J2 (3).
g. Position connector A32B1P1 (2) and install
screw (1).

VANEAXIAL FAN B1 ELECTRICAL
CONNECTOR P1 REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Remove screw (1) and disconnect
connector A32B1P1 (2) from connector
A36J2 (3).
b. Remove connector A32B1P1 (2) from cable
(para 2-5).
INSTALLATION
c. Inspect wires for damage. Replace
damaged wires in accordance with TM 55-
1500-323-25.
d. Install replacement connector A32B1P1 (2)
on wires (para 2-5).
e. Connect connector A32B1P1 (2) to
connector A36J2 (3) and install screw (1).
