27. FOCUSING ASSEMBLY A31
REPLACMENT
CAUTION
• While performing this procedure, keep all
exposed lenses covered with lens paper to
prevent damage to coated optical surface.
• Use of clean fingercots or rubber gloves and
respirator are mandatory when handling
optical assemblies and lens elements.
REMOVAL
a. Remove focusing assembly A31 (1) by
removing one long socket head capscrew
(2), three short socket head capscrews (3),
and four washers (4).
b. Remove screw (5) and disconnect
connectors W10P11 (6) and W10P12 (7)
from connectors A31B1J1 and A31R1J2.
INSTALLATION
c. Connect connectors W10P11 (6) and
W10P12 (7) to connectors A31B1J1 and
A31R1J2 and secure with screw (5).
d. Install focusing assembly A31 (1) on NSA
using one long socket head capscrew (2),
three short socket head capscrews (3), and
four washers (4).
