23. CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY (CCA) A43
REPLACEMENT (OIP)
REMOVAL
CAUTION
This CCA contains electrostatic discharge
sensitive (ESDS) devices. Refer to paragraph
2-8 for handling requirements before starting
this task, to prevent damage to the devices.
a. Remove lacing and typing tape (1) from
connectors A43J1 (2) and W10P18 (3) and
connectors A43J2 (4) and W10P19 (5).
Disconnect connectors.
b. Remove four nuts (6) and washers (7) and
remove CCA A43 (8). Retain four spacer
sleeves (9).
c. Remove old sealing locking and retaining
compound from studs (10) and nuts (6)
(para 2-6).
INSTALLATION
d. Apply sealing, locking and retaining
compound to four studs (10). Use Type 1
application.
e. Install four spacer sleeves (9), CCA A43
(8), four washers (7) and nuts (6).
f. Connect connectors W10P19 (2) to A43J2
(5), and W10P18 (3) to A43J1 (4).
g. Secure connectors W10P19 (2) to A43J2
(5) and W10P18 (3) to A43J1 (4) with lacing
and tying tape (1).
