22. ELAPSED TIME INDICATOR M1
REPLACEMENT
NOTE
Elapsed time indicator M1 is being eliminated.
This procedure applies only to an NSA built
with M1 installed.
a. Remove insulation sleeving (1) from
elapsed time indicator M1 (2).
b. Unsolder two wires (3) from elapsed time
indicator M1 (2).
c. Remove elapsed time indicator M1 (2) by
removing two socket head capscrews (4),
washers (5), and locknuts (6).
d. Slide Insulation sleeving (1) over wires (3).
Ensure that tubing extends a minimum of
0.25 inch beyond ends.
e. Secure Insulated wires (1) to adjacent
wiring or chassis using lacing and tying
tape.
f. Discard elapsed time indicator M1 (2), two
socket head capscrews (4), washers (5),
and locknuts (6) in accordance with TM 1-
1270-476-23P.
