1.
Raise front of vehicle (WP 0029).
2.
Place a drip pan under the steering cylinder hoses.
3.
Disconnect steering cylinder hoses (Figure 1, Item 3 and 4) noting orientation.
4.
Remove ittings (Figure 1, Item 5) from steering cylinder pipes.
5.
Remove mount bolt (Figure 1, Item 1).
6.
Remove screw (Figure 1, Item 1).
7.
Remove outboard pivot pin assembly (Figure 1, Item 2).
8.
Remove steering cylinder pivot pin retainer spring pin (Figure 1, Item 6).
9.
Remove mount bolt (Figure 1, Item 7).
10.
Remove inboard pivot pin assembly (Figure 1, Item 8).
11.
Remove steering cylinder assembly (Figure 1, Item 9)
END OF TASK
INSTALLATION
1.  Position steer cylinder assembly (Figure 1, Item 9) inside cylinder mounts.
2.  Apply anti-seize compound to steering cylinder mount pivot pins.
3.  Install inboard pivot pin (Figure 1, Item 8) aligning lange with mount hole.
4.  Apply Locktite sealant to the pivot pin mount bolt threads.
5.  Install pivot pin mount bolt (Figure 1, Item 7) and torque to 41 to 43 foot lbs..
6.  Install steering cylinder pivot pin reta9iner spring pin (Figure 1, Item 6).
7.  Apply Locktite sealant to the pivot pin mount bolt threads.
8.  Install pivot pin mount bolt (Figure 1, Item 1) and torque to 41 to 43 foot lbs..
