Check engine oil pressure gauge for engine oil pressure reading (WP 0004).
CONDITION/INDICATION
Is pressure indicated on oil pressure gauge?
DECISION
YES Proceed to Step 2.
NO Proceed to Step 3.
BRANCH 2.

Test engine oil pressure switch (warning light) (WP 0037).
CONDITION/INDICATION
Is switch defective?
DECISION
YES Replace engine oil pressure switch.
NO Proceed to Step 3.
BRANCH 3.
3.
Shutdown, check engine oil level.
CONDITION/INDICATION
Is engine oil low?
DECISION
YES Fill engine oil.
NO Proceed to Step 4.
BRANCH 4.
4.
Inspect circuit wiring (FO-1).
CONDITION/INDICATION
Is wiring faulty?
DECISION
YES Proceed to Step 5.
NO No further action required.
MALFUNCTION - BRANCH 5.
MALFUNCTION - Circuit wiring is faulty.
