EQUIPMENT CHARACTERISTICS
The Platform, Aviation Maintenance, Type B-4A, is a hydraulically operated, adjustable platform and ladder as-
sembly mounted on a caster-equipped base which can be moved to enable personnel to work safely at heights
of approximately three to seven feet.
EQUIPMENT CAPABILITIES AND FEATURES
The platform is mobile and has swivel casters. These can be locked for stability when the platform is in the desired
location.
A tow bar is provided to permit towing by vehicle when movement over longer distances is required. Do not ex-
ceed 5 MPH when towing.
The platform is designed to support up to 500 pounds in its raised position.
The platform is raised and lowered by manual control of a hydraulic pump.
