PREPARATION FOR USE AFTER ASSEMBLY
INITIAL SETUP:
Materials/Parts
Hydraulic Fluid (WP 0025 00, Item 3)
1.
Fill the reservoir with 1.7 gallons of Hydraulic Fluid, speciication MIL-H-5606 or equivalent.
NOTE
For temperatures below -28.9C (29F) use 3 parts of Hydraulic Fluid to 1 parts of naphtha,
speciication TT-N95.
2.
Check tightness of bolts.
3.
Check operation of retractable casters.

Operate jack several times to bleed out trapped air. If air is still present, pump jack to full extension, remove
plunger, open the valve (Figure 1, Item 11). Lower jack as rapidly as possible without overlowing the pump.
With luid level at the top of the reservoir, replace the plunger.
