9. RELAY BRACKET ASSEMBLY A39
REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL
a. Disconnect connector W10P14 (1) from
relay bracket assembly A39 (2) connector
J1 (3) by loosening two screwlocks (4).
b. Remove terminal lug (5) and loop clamp (6)
by removing two socket head capscrews
(7) and washers (8). Remove relay bracket
assembly A39 (2).
INSTALLATION
c. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from mounting hardware
(para 2-6).
d. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to mounting hardware
(para 2-6). Use class 1A application.
e. Loosely Install relay bracket assembly A39
(2) and loop clamp (6) using one washer (8)
and one socket head capscrew (7) in upper
mounting hole of bracket.
f. Install terminal lug (5) by using one washer
(8) and socket head capscrew (7).
g. Tighten both socket head capscrews (7).
h. Connect connector W10P14 to relay
bracket assembly A39 (2) connector J1 and
tighten two screwlocks (4).
