All engine operating time using 100LL AVGAS shall be recorded on DA Form 2408-13 (Aircraft Inspection and
Maintenance Record) with the following statement entered In the remarks section.
"This Engine has been operated for ____________ hours on leaded gasoline (100LL AVGAS)."

Use of JP-5 and JP-8 fuels is limited to temperature above -25 F (-32 C) in the T63 engine.

ASTM-D910 (80/87, 100/130, 115/145) AVGAS (aviation gasoline) without Tricresyl Phosphate (TCP) is
authorized for use as an emergency fuel in the T63 engine with operation not to exceed 6 hours cumulative
time. Exceeding this limitation will require a return to the overhaul facility.

The UH-72A aircraft Fuel Speciication Chart does not separate Standard and Alternate Fuels

UH-72A contingency fuels shall be limited to 25 hours maximum time between overhaul, 1500 ft pressure
altitude (PA), and 30oF maximum fuel temperature.

A fuel mixture which contains over 10% leaded gasoline shall be recorded as leaded gasoline.

The use of emergency fuels shall be recorded in the FAULT/REMARKS column of DA Form 2408-13, (Aircraft
Maintenance and Inspection Record) noting the type of fuel, additives, and duration of operation.

The aircraft shall not be lown when emergency fuel has been used for a total cumulative time of 50 hours.
The engine manual also limits to 25 hours when TCPs in the fuel.
