CAUTION
To prevent damage to door, place suitable padding material under door on bed.
5.
Place driver side door (Figure 3, Item 3), face down, with hinges toward front of vehicle.
6.
Place four spacers (Figure 3, Item 2) stored in passenger side rear storage compartment, in spacer
receptacles on inside of driver side door.
7.
Place passenger side door (Figure 3, Item 4), face up, on top of driver side door (Figure 3, Item 3) aligning
spacer receptacles with spacers (Figure 3, Item 2) on driver side door and seat spacers in spacer receptacles.
Remove CPS cab (WP 0022, REMOVAL, Steps 315).
8.
CAUTION
Ensure front of CPS cab is positioned against rear of support brackets to prevent damage to
CPS wiring harness cannon plug and windshield washer quick disconnect tubing.
9.
Rotate the CPS cab (Figure 3, Item 6) 180 degrees and place on rear bed of vehicle with the front edge of the
CPS cab on the transport support brackets (Figure 3, Item 7) and face of CPS cab positioned against rear
of transport support brackets.
10.
Disconnect lifting sling (WP 0022, REMOVAL, Step 15) and remove four ring bolts.
11.
Attach transport locking brackets (Figure 3, Item 5) stored in passenger side rear storage compartment, on
each side of rear of CPS cab using two cap screws and two lock nuts that secure the rear of the CPS cab to
the vehicle, ensuring lower leg of transport locking bracket is under lip of side of rear bed.
12.
Secure cab (Figure 3, Item 6) to rear bed of vehicle with two cargo straps.
13.
Secure doors (Figure 3, Item 3 and 4) to rear bed of vehicle with two cargo straps.
14.
Fold and hitch mirrors "in" so they do not protrude outward.
15.
Ensure the front pintle hitch is in the uppermost position (WP 0005).
16.
Store ire extinguisher in one of the side storage compartments.

Do not Sling Load vehicle with CPS cab in shipping coniguration (CPS cab secured to rear
of vehicle).

Prepare the vehicle for shipment per applicable mode of transport.
2.
Refer to instructions in FM 4-20.198 when Sling Loading vehicle.
