RAISE WORK PLATFORM WITH POWER TOOL - CONTINUED
WARNING
Connect static discharge cable to the platform frame and earth ground.
Be sure handrails and platform rails are in place prior to use.
Use handrails when going up or down steps.
Do not use platform with load of more than 750 pounds.
Do not raise platform without static discharge cable connected. Sparks can cause fuel fire.
Hold platform with immobilizing jacks before raising work platform.
Do not raise platform with a power tool until handle on hand wheel is folded in. Keep hands and
clothing clear.
1.
Immobilize the undercarriage before raising the work platform. Perform Immobilizing and Mobilizing to
immobilize the platform.
2.
Ensure that platform is grounded before raising work platform. Perform Ground and Unground Platform to
ground.
3.
Fold in handle (Figure 3, Item 1) on hand wheel (Figure 3, Item 2).
4.
Connect power tool to 5/8 inch hex stud (Figure 3, Item 3) at center of hand wheel (Figure 3, Item 2).
5.
Operate power tool to turn the hex stud and raise the work platform to the proper level.
LOWERING WORK PLATFORM
WARNING
Before lowering platform, be sure all the steps are clear of debris, tools and power cables.
1.
Ensure that all debris, tools and power cables are removed.
2.
Rotate hand wheel, manually or with power tool, to lower work platform.
