1-24. DESCRIPTION OF NIGHT AND DAY SENSOR SHROUD ASSEMBLIES
The night sensor shroud assembly is mounted on the right side of the TADS turret assembly and the day
sensor shroud assembly is mounted on the left. The shroud assemblies provide air and waterproof cover
for the day sensor and night sensor assemblies. Each of the anti-ice CCAS contain an ESDS device and
requires special preparation for storage or shipment when removed from its shroud assembly.
Subassemblies of the night sensor shroud assembly are:
• Anti-ice heater
• Thermostatic switch
• Anti-ice CCA
