n. Using teflon tape, tape each motherboard
flexible harness at corners and any place
subject to chafing. As flexible harness is
removed and other corners are exposed,
use tape as necessary to prevent damage.
CAUTION
Guide motherboard with care to prevent
connector on edge of motherboard from
hanging up on card guides.
NOTE
The following step requires two people
working together. Read and understand the
step before starting.
o. Remove motherboard (36) with flexible
harness connectors from preamplifier
cavity.
(1) Apply heat with heat gun near
connector P4 (31) and bend under
connector P1 (28). Tape with teflon
tape.
(2) Lift motherboard (36) slightly and
carefully lift out of cavity while working
connectors.
