ar. Remove lens paper covering all optical
surfaces before installing scanner optics
assembly.
as. Install scanner optics assembly A34 (1).
CAUTION
• Scanner optics assembly must be manually
supported until capscrews are installed to
prevent damage to wires and flexible
harnesses.
• Be very careful not to damage flexible
harness when connecting connectors.
NOTE
Two people are required to perform steps (1)
thru (4).
(1) Hold scanner optics assembly in
mounting position, tilt top slightly
forward and connect:
(a) Flexible harness connector A23P1
(12) to connector A34J1.
(b) Flexible harness connector A23P2
(13) to connector A34J2.
(2) Tighten four screwlocks (14) to secure
connectors.
(3) Connect connector W10P13 (10) to
connector A32RT1J1 and secure with
screw (11).
(4) Position scanner optics assembly (1)
and install using four socket head
capscrews (8) and washers (9). Use
hex key T1 to install lower right-hand
screw.
