NOTE
Although TM 55-1520-210-23P shows the Clevis part number to be 204-011-136-103,
these parts may exhibit a part number of 1615UH1-100-1. If found, 1615UH1-100-1
is an alternative part number for 204-011-136-103, and shall also be inspected IAW
this TB.
b. If the serial number prefix is "GT" or if the part does not contain a serial number in this area, proceed to the
corrective procedures in paragraph 9.
NOTE
If a serial number is present but the prefix is not readable, parts manufactured by
GT Machine can also be identified by CAGE Code 4T854 in the same area as the
serial number.
c. If the serial number is found and the prefix is other than "GT", the inspection is complete.
9. Correction Procedure. For Rod End Clevises with serial numbers having the prefix "GT" (or CAGE Code 4T854), or
Clevises which do not have a serial number, replace with a serviceable Clevis from supply. Dispose of discrepant
Clevises IAW paragraph 10.d.
10. Supply/Parts and Disposition.
a. Parts Required. Items cited in paragraph 7 will be required to replace defective items.
b. Requisitioning Instructions. Requisition replacement part using normal supply procedures.
All requisitions
shall use project code (CC 57-59) XEA.
NOTE
Project code XEA is required to track and establish a database of stockfund
expenditures incurred by the field as a result of SOF/TB actions.
