Ohms test the park position motor winding at wiring connector J7 (WP 0085) for continuity (FO-1, Line 31).
CONDITION/INDICATION
Does park position motor have continuity?
DECISION
YES Repair faulty wiring in the circuit (FO-1, Line 31).
NO Proceed to Step 8.
MALFUNCTION - BRANCH 8.
MALFUNCTION - The park position does not continuity.
ACTION
8. Replace park position motor (WP 0085).

CONDITION/INDICATION
Does park position circuit breaker CB2 have continuity?
DECISION
YES Proceed to Step 2.
NO Replace park position circuit breaker CB2 (WP 0122).
BRANCH 2.

Check that the transmission gear selector in the park position (WP 0005).
CONDITION/INDICATION
Is gear selector in the park position?
DECISION
YES Proceed to Step 3.
NO Place the gear selector in park (WP 0005).
