b. SERIAL NUMBER APPLICATION. Part numbers shown in Sections II and III without any serial
number restrictions, are applicable to all serial numbered LRU/SRUs of AN/ASQ-170. When part
numbers of spare/repair items are not the same for all serial numbered LRU/SRUs, one of the following
statements identifying the usable effectivity will be made in the DESCRIPTION AND USABLE ON
CODE (UOC) column as follows:
Example: A. Assembly, Night Sensor (U/O 13076080-019) is defined as; night sensor
window assembly is used on next higher assembly part number 13076080-
019.
Example: B. Receiver, Infrared See Fig 14 Assy Bkdn §8§ is defined as; infrared
receiver is restricted by effectivity code §8§. (Refer to paragraph 5b(1)
for description of effectivity codes.)
(1) EFFECTIVITY CODES. Effectivity codes are grouped in accordance with LRU/SRU
system. The following effectivity codes are used to define restricted usage on serial numbered LRU/
SRUs of AN/ASQ-170.
