2. POWER SUPPLY ASSEMBLY A2
This assembly contains electrostatic discharge
sensitive devices (ESDS). Refer to paragraph
2-8 for handling requirements before starting
this task, to prevent damage to the devices.
a. Remove fan assembly (1 above).
Use care when prying and lifting power supply
assembly straight up from visual multiplexer
assembly. Careless prying and lifting can
damage guide pins and connectors.
b. Remove power supply assembly A2 (1).
(1) Remove two screws (2).
(2) Alternately pry top and bottom edges of
power supply assembly (1) until
connectors (3) separate.
(3) Lift power supply assembly (1) straight
up until assembly is clear of guide pins
c. Remove old corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound from mounting hardware
d. Apply corrosion inhibitive sealing and
coating compound to mounting hardware
(para 2-6). Use class 1A application.
e. Install power supply assembly A2 (1) on
guide pins (4). Ensure that connectors (3)
f. Install two screws (2).
g. Install fan assembly (1 above).
